There are three classes that fall under Drama elective category: Speech, Theatre Arts, and Playbill. All three of these classes are taught by Mrs. Nalepa. Unfortunately, none of these electives are offered to 6th graders. However the spring musical is open to all grade levels and involves singing, dancing, and acting.
Speech is class for 7th graders who want to learn to become more comfortable performing in front of an audience and learn how to write a proper speech. The Speech class also participates in lip-syncs at the end of the year.
Theatre Arts-
Theatre Arts is a class for 8th graders. In this class, a student learns to become a better actor. One learns how to perform different types of acting pieces and the managing process of musicals.
Playbill is intended for highly talented and dedicated 8th grade students. This is an audition based class. Playbill students perform out in public, at tournaments, and at school pep rallies.
